After game observations from Tiger Park

What did our kids do after the game??? Did they circle the field or sing the fight song???

I was in the berm. They circled the field and gave us high fives. They then went to the dugout area and took pictures. I videoed it and tried to post, but the file was too large. Sorry.

My observations from being at the game.

2. After the fourth inning, Jordan was spent. She won the game on guts, determination, heart and fight.

I posted this in another thread but I caught a moment in that incredible 7th inning... Coach Lotief could not come to the mound without removing Jordan which was not going to happen... She was spent.... but it was hers to win or lose... 1 out and the best tiggger hitter up... Coach Lotief got up off his can and she looked over at him... He put his fingers to his temple as if to say be smart.... then pointed at his heart.... as if to say win it with you heart... and she did

They all share the same DNA, so I would expect the softball fans to be as classless as the rest of their fans.

Was there something special they did to prove how classless they are?

I thought the same thing. My thought is that maybe if Torino had done more and better coaching, it might have helped her team.

I think some of these conferences are just recruit-n-win conferences. You know, we'll convince the kids it's the best place because it is in the PAC-10 or SEC, then we'll just let them play their way into a starting roll...or not. Judging by the smile on Haack's face today, I think she is pleased that she had the intelligence and courage to leave Arizona. It's pretty cool to get recruited by Arizona or Alabama, but it is much cooler to find your second family.

Found this in the LSU regional game notes. Remember this is from the LSU perspective. I guess this means we are now 8-12 against them all time.

My observations from being at the game.
1. It was hot!
2. After the fourth inning, Jordan was spent. She won the game on guts, determination, heart and fight.
3. LSU's hitters are not very good. They had Jordan right where they wanted her and could not get it done.
4. Mike had his players mentally prepared to fight. Beth Torino did not.
5. LSU was the #9 national seed. They may have been the most over rated team in the nation.
6. Lady Cajuns, still undefeated at Tiger Park.

I wasn't able to get to the games in Baton Rouge, but I listened to every second on the radio. I know "Tiger Park" is a nice place and a lot of money was spent building it. But if you look at the actual posted capacites, "Lamson Park" is listed as being bigger. (2,700 to 2,400) I know that we didn't spend near the $$$$, but can anyone tell me how they think Lamson compares? I think we have a really nice softball facility here in Lafayette. Thanks.
