After game observations from Tiger Park

My observations from being at the game.
1. It was hot!
2. After the fourth inning, Jordan was spent. She won the game on guts, determination, heart and fight.
3. LSU's hitters are not very good. They had Jordan right where they wanted her and could not get it done.
4. Mike had his players mentally prepared to fight. Beth Torino did not.
5. LSU was the #9 national seed. They may have been the most over rated team in the nation.
6. Lady Cajuns, still undefeated at Tiger Park.

The thing that I noted was the LSU fan who was keeping track of the timeouts by the Cajuns. I am glad that she kept track of the number of times that Michael went out and coached the team, because those meetings proved to be one of the reasons why UL came away with the win. . . again.

I thought the same thing. My thought is that maybe if Torino had done more and better coaching, it might have helped her team.

Umpires count how many times a coach comes out. He gets one offensive outing per inning. Use it wisely. He gets one trip to the circle use it wisely. So the Tiger fan was wasting her time.

In any case twenty-one scoreless innings. The fact that Jordan was able to close the deal with the bases loaded and one out has to really p!$$ them off.

No doubt the LSU squad is not a great run producer, and they did not disappoint.

On TV, Louisiana State's players looked smaller and less athletic than ours.

I thought the same thing. My thought is that maybe if Torino had done more and better coaching, it might have helped her team.

There is definitely some grumbling from Tiger land concerning Torino's coaching. She has obviously had success but doesn't seem to be able to adjust very quickly when needed.
