Little Rock is a pretty cool city. Downtown Little Rock will remind you of downtown Lafayette, bars and restaurants, lots of partying going on and attractive young ladies hanging out. They even close off the street on Saturday evening. A really nice bike and walking trail on the edge of the river in both Little Rock and North Little Rock. Decent highway system and easy to get around.
Bill Clinton Library also on the river near downtown. In some sections of this library, you may throw up in your mouth and some you have to hold your breath...but overall a good experience. The one thing you realize, compared to the "Goober" democrat we have as president now, Bill Clinton was maybe not that bad!
I thought Little Rock was a nice city when I have visited or worked there. It is about a 7 hour drive. I would make a bowl game there if the Cajuns were invited. The weather might be a problem but it also could be really nice.
The problem is, Little Rock might be quaint and nice and all, but when it comes down to it, a majority of Cajun fans will not want to go freeze their ___ off for 3+ hours for a football game. I did that this past year for ARK-LSU in Fayettevegas this year, NEVER want to do that again.
So you are saying that our fans are wimps, don't support the team unless it is just fabulous conditions. Please just speak for yourself and not the rest of Cajun fans. Just because you went clap for the tiggas or hogs and it was cold and did not enjoy it don't paint the rest of us with the wimp brush.
I think the Sun Belt and CUSA almost have to start making their own bowl games because the power conferences are starting to take even more bowl games leaving less for the rest of us
I go to Little Rock regularly for medical visits.
If you ever go to Little Rock be sure to take an afternoon and climb Pinnnacle Mountain. Its close by and easy to get to. Its pretty easy to climb to the top with only a hiking stick. It's only about 1000 ft. elevation, but to this cajun prairie dweller it feels like Everest.
You mean you do 1,000 feet in one day? I would need a base camp and a couple of sherpa's.
Haha step off your high horse loser. You've probably never been to a freezing cold game north of I10 before.
And way to put words in my mouth. Calling people wimps? Give me a break. You just got butthurt that I went to an LSU game because my wife asked me to go to see her alma mater play. Gotta do the stupid things to keep your wife happy. But you wouldn't know that since you probably live alone. Or in your moms basement
