Starks is leaving LCA to be head coach at LSU-E
Byron Starks has stepped down at LCA to take the head coaching job at LSU-Eunice, both schools announced Friday morning.
Starks, who began his coaching career in 1996, had previous stops at Assembly Christian, Northside Christian, Louisiana and Vermilion Catholic.
After totaling more than 1,500 points during his playing career with the Ragin' Cajuns, the Grambling native_was a 2011 inductee into the UL Athletics Hall of Fame.
Congrats to Coach Starks. He will do well.
Get 2-3 years of college experience...and maybe he lands somewheres else local???....
