    Byron Starks keeps on giving. Great to see him develop young men. IMO you are a better person by just being around him.

  4. UL Basketball Byron Starks steps down at LCA, to take job as head coach of new LSU-E program

    Byron Starks has stepped down at LCA to take the head coaching job at LSU-Eunice, both schools announced Friday morning.

    Starks, who began his coaching career in 1996, had previous stops at Assembly Christian, Northside Christian, Louisiana and Vermilion Catholic.

    After totaling more than 1,500 points during his playing career with the Ragin' Cajuns, the Grambling native_was a 2011 inductee into the UL Athletics Hall of Fame.

    Where is Lsue and state of LA getting the money to fund this program? But we do not have enough money to fund other universities in the state LA

    He already coached here under Robert Lee. He did not like all the travel.

    He had a young family back then. All of his children are older now, but he will need some time to get his system in place at LSU-E and build a resume.

    That is true. Sometimes I forget how quickly time passes.

    Doesn't have to be a "bad" guy to do it. How can you dispute that its been a part of their program for some time now?
