How does one run a program into the ground when he was the one that started the program to begin with?

Million Dollar Mullet. His brother was on the squad, so I didn't know if that is where you got some info from.

You do understand that in college basketball the “inmates run the asylum” is commonplace. The sign of a good coach is keeping all of these personalities on the same page and getting them to play together and toward the same goals.

Or you can have roster turnover every single year and be successful only 30% of the time.

Here we go again. We’re you close to the program when Jessie was here? Because if not, you can put more respect on his name. He won and won big while here, with near zero academic support compared to what’s happening on campus now. Plus if you want to talk about other stuff he’s accused of, that still happens here, but it’s not talked about. Like Marlins team captain leading a F the police March. Or other players popping hot on drug test. Getting arrested and released without their names across the blotter.

So again, please expound on how Jessie was loosey goosey here.

His record is amazing but you are right, his record wont keep a program up after the fact.

I’ve been close to the program for 50 years. I don’t care if you were a two sport athlete here. You don’t know what I know about either program. There’s a reason Jessie is not a head coach and the same will be said for Byron

You come across as having an ax to grind.

It is unusual to be that upset about the goings on at ANOTHER school.

Good job Turbine. I’m glad I didn’t say what I was texting.

The only reason it’s relevant is cause someone mentioned Byron as being a coach here. I’m not upset about anything. Just relaying what I know about both situations. From what was relayed to me about the ongoings in Eunice when he was head coach I wouldn’t want him to be the head coach at the program I support and have supported for 50 years. So call it an ax to grind or whatever I don’t really care
