Thread: Frith's Pitching, Big Offensive Numbers Give UL Twinbill Split

  1. UL Baseball Frith's Pitching, Big Offensive Numbers Give UL Twinbill Split

A stellar relief effort by Ben Frith slowed down South Alabama and the Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team outscored the Jaguars 17-1 after falling behind 6-0 in the first inning to capture the second game of a Sunday doubleheader here at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field by a 17-7 count and earn a split of the twinbill.

My wife and I had to leave after the first game because of mother's day. We've made over 30 games this year.

I did listen to the game and am very proud of how they didn't quit. Also...gotta love the story of Frith getting in and shutting them down.

    Go Cajuns!!

We also had to leave ... Mother's Day trumped UL Baseball second game, although we stayed as long as we could ... also had on the radio and was trying to figure out if I needed to go to the "store" to pick up something and sneak back into the game.

This was one of those "character" games ... and we passed!

Sorry guys I know everyone has family, I might have had a few beers yesterday. Just happy team showed some fortitude and was able to come back strong.
