Rutgers' official bio of new men's basketball coach Eddie Jordan says he graduated from the university in 1977. But the university registrar's office says the former NBA player and coach never received a degree from Rutgers, though he earned 103 credit hours from 1973 to 1985.

Eddie Jordan meet Glynn Cyprien, Glynn meet Eddie, one had a head coaching job in his hands and lost it, the other is up in the air. Seems UL has a higher requirement for head coaching than ancient Rutgers.

There is no such thing as a questionable degree, it is either universally recognized or it is not.

He claimed to have a degree from UTSA that he did not actually have (but it was close). He also claimed to hold a masters degree from an online institution that was not accredited. He did go on to complete his BS degree from UTSA however and is now the associate head coach at TAMU.

Rutgers has no requirement of a degree in order to be a head coach there. So unless Jordan lied on his paperwork he will probably remain as HC.
