I was perusing the Arkansas website and noticed that they referred to us a UL Lafayette on their football schedule. I sent an email today asking them to call us Louisiana as that is our branded name athletically. I received the following response:

"Thank you for your note regarding the preferred name for Louisiana. I spoke with Brian McCann in the sports information office down there and we have changed the name on our website’s schedule and will use Louisiana moving forward. It should be an exciting game for all involved and one we are certainly looking forward to kicking off our season."
