    I can walk the the "Tigue". Sun out most of the afternoon and partly cloudy. As on now, still no rain. We could have played tonight.

    Obviously, the two coaches sought out advice from a meteorologist. As best they could tell at that time, it was goi g to be raining...and I would suspect neither coach wanted to waste an outing by their ace.

    It's easy to say now that it didn't rain.

    Were anticipating a second band. They were as much concerned about lightning strikes as rain. Each time a strike is picked up, that's a 30 minute delay...minimum. Had they had one or two of those, that would have REALLY screwed up pitching. Since SoAl's bullpen is their strength, I would bet Tony could not risk starting a game...then having multiple delays.
