Watching him play with my son at Teurlings, I was pretty sure he could hit at his level. I didn't know, though, that he'd do it this well. And his glove at 3rd has been awesome. Was pretty sure Carriere couldn't take his spot.
"I've grown up wanting to be a Ragin' Cajun," Girouard said. "A lot of people get lost in LSU kind-of-stuff, but I've always wanted to be a Cajun."

OK --I think I understand this "INSIDE HITTING" but can some really good baseball guy explain the INSIDE Deal as it was used extensively throughout the article????
I went to High School with his dad the boy comes from a good family.
The difference defensively is minimal...and Carriere can't hit.
