Some groups are going to have trouble paying that. I know we gotta pay to play, but.... it just seems really steep. 200%?

Mine went up only $50 from $250. It requires RCAF membership which some were not in the past which adds to increase? The price of success and the master plan is not free.

I've been paying 1k for my spot for 5 years now, the tailgate spots are still way too cheap even with the increase. For the price they charge, the spots should be cut in half which is still plenty of room for a family. Most spots have 15-30 people tailgating. I think the current spots should be at least 500. Raise the price until there is no longer a waiting list. The more people have to pay the less likely you see empty spots on Saturdays.

That's a good question. The spot next to ours went unused all season. Along with the price increase, I hope someone in the AD's office is scoping out places to add more spots. Particularly adding more RV spots in the North Endzone parking lot.

Because they are so cheap, people buy them but don't use them. You raise the price and the guy who never goes will most likely give it up to a person who will .

Makes very good sense ... if they REALLY want the spot, they'll pay the price and sense they paid so much they'll use it!

I know the spot next to ours the people using it use it for additional parking. We have been trying to buy it from them for over 4 years.

I think if people don't use their spot, the university should kick them out and sell it to someone who will!! I mean, C'MON!!
