The Trahans of Kinder need to reconnect with their Cajun roots
I don't trust family knowledge on things like this.
I have a friend Aaron from Kaplan who moved to New York City and while he was there pronounced his name Trayhand. Comes home he is Trahan again.
I bet if he stayed away for a single generation his kids (right now he has none) will think the family name (while 100% French in origin) is pronounced Trayhand.
