    Why was it even stated?
You have no interest in UL.

10-20 softball by itself puts us in the top 50

I don't know about this year but last year softballs wins by themself would put UL 4th to last in pentathlam wins

If you tried to to it with just baseball and softball combined UL would have been tied for 99th

Last year the possibilities with football could have meant the difference between 8th and 24 place.

    Every sport counts. jmo

It is about the winning experience of a collage sports fan! Not just in a single sport but in the Big-5 sports combined. Football, Mens and Womens basketball, Softball and Baseball.

While UL fans do appreciate the contribution of softball & baseball to the Pentathlam, it, as stated above, is the "Winning Experience" of the teams & fans in the Big-5 sports. The Pentathlam signifies a community of coaches, assistant coaches, equipment managers, training staff, adminstrative and game-day personnel and, of course, the student athletes exhibiting character and dedication to their individual sport. Very few other collegiate athletic departments tout this achievement.

Should a recruit and parents/guardian consider among her/his offers the UL Ragin Cajun program, one of the intangible assets is the winning dynasty that this university and community has exhibited in the recent past.

    Just imagine and believe.
