NEW YORK — Righthander Jordan Lyles has received another shot to stick in the majors. With righty Brad Peacock (1-3, 9.41 ERA) moved out of the Astros’ starting rotation Monday, the club will have Lyles start Thursday against the Detroit Tigers at Minute Maid Park. Lyles will arrive in Houston late Wednesday and be fully rested for his first major-league start this season, manager Bo Porter said. The Astros are calling up Lyles in the hope he’ll remain in the rotation the remainder of this season.
