I have to admit. If I was a student at McNeese, I would have ran onto the field this past Saturday. I also would hope that the rest of the students would have followed me so I would not have been the one in cuffs.

From 1993–1999 while at Louisiana Tech, Conque served as Offensive Coordinator, Running Backs Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. The program has improved not only in terms of facilities and atmosphere under Conque, but also in talent. With Conque at the helm, UCA has sent 12 players into the professional ranks – with four players from the 2006 team alone landing on NFL rosters. >>>

I watched Conque's team the other night. They were drilling Texas State and during the halftime interview, you could tell he was not happy with some parts of his team's performance. He would be my # 1 choice also, but that would prolly mean that he would bring Hud Jackson with him(Mcneese). He and I went at for four yrs. in high school, back in the day. But I'll take the good with the bad, if that means a winning team and PROGRAM.

mcneese's guy has only been there one year. He has done a good job but there are plenty of other d1aa head coaches out there with a longer track record of proven success at that level and lower. Chris Hatcher is one of them who seems to be on his way up and who I would put at the top of the list. There are a number of others worth looking at.
