LOL! That is fricking hilarious. "Multiple" transfers??? Makes it sound like we have multiple transfers from each school listed.
In reality, we have less transfers than most FCS schools and we are real picky about the ones we take now a days. That have to have multiple years left and be kids that we originally recruited.
You want to see transfers, go look at the Sam Houston St roster, or Texas St., or SFA.
Doc
OMG!
You are so right!
You figured us out!
MULTIBLE..
WE BEAT YOU WITH 4 TRANSFERS ALONE!
Oh hell, it doesn't matter that only ONE was a starter at Full Back that had like 2 carries.
So tell me how did those THREE 2nd stringers do it? Are the CAJUNS that fricking lame?
Damn good thing we recruited them ALL in High School or they never would have found us over here in the corner of this little state...
ALSO I'm REALLY glad that NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THOSE 4 PLAYERS THAT ROUTED THE CAJUNS never played a SINGLE down at Miss St. (Grey Shirt), Tulane, Mich. St., and that power LaTech (all RED shirted and played every down as a Cowboy). Hell those other schools might have fought to hang on to them knowing that they were 25% of a TOTAL @$$ whipping force that could hang it own you guy's.
ALL WHILE SITTING ON THE BENCH AND WAITING THEIR CHANCE AT YOU.
And of course, Don't give those Non-DI DB's that intercepted those passes and returned that fumble ANY credit, because IT WAS THE SECOND TEAM THAT DID YOU IN!
Sorry for some reason I thought there were 2 each from Tulane and Tech. LATech is the only school providing multiple transfers.
I don't know why FCS transfers offend you so, it's an advantage use them to the full.
- Jordy Johnson #4 from Tulane STARTED at FullBack.
- David Turnage #58 from Louisiana Tech STARTED at LineBacker
- Lance Fremin #67 from Mississippi State STARTED at Center
- Kris Bush #27 from Michigan State played and had something like 80 yards rushing and played on special teams.
- Terrance Freeman #80 from Louisiana Tech played.
ps I also want to say I 'm sorry if my calling you a national power offended you in any way.
Turnage starts in our 4-3 scheme. We came out the 1st series in our 4-2-5, so he did NOT get the start. We shifted to the 4-3 at the end of the 1st Q and all the 2nd Q and then returned to the 4-2-5 (our base defense) the entire 2nd half.
Fremin, NEVER JOINED the MISS STATE FOOTBALL TEAM, he was a PART TIME STUDENT AT MISS STATE, his five year NCAA clock started here at McNeese. He Redshirted at McNeese last year with a broken leg/foot. I think our media guide is inaccurate.
And yes, Bush played but was the 2nd team TB. He was starter the last 3 games for us after we lost Leonards (a 5th year WALK ON) to a career ending injury. Bush had 2 fumbles last week, was pulled and then out performed by a Soph TB who will probably get the starting nod this week.
NONE of the BUTT load of transfers as you put it, EVER played at those other schools.
We played everyone of the 63 defensive players we brought on the trip. So the EVERY player you mentioned played in the 38-17 rout of the 85 SCHOLARSHIP Cajuns by the 63 scholarship Cowboys.
BUT LIKE YOU SAID.
HELL the 85 scholarshiped Cajuns were routed by 4 transfer players that never saw the playing field at those other schools and then joined the 63 scholarshiped Cowboys...
DAYMN We're good, ain't we?
Yes, now go away. We wish to grovel in our misery apart from those who celebrate their glorious triumph over their long ago rival. May we meet again in a place and time (like 6pm ish on a Saturday?) in the not too distant future, and restore the pecking order, as it should be.
Blah, blah, blah...you are STUCK in Lake Charles, petro chem. dump of the state..enough said. If you want a real degree, perhaps you can transfer to a community college and then come to U.L.
I find it interesting that weeks after the game, you are still reading the UL board.
