Smith and Reid Laymance Thursday marked the Astros’ first appearance at Fenway Park in 10 seasons, and this is only the second series in franchise history the club has played at the home park of the Boston Red Sox. Factor in that 2013 represents the Astros’ first year in the American League, and the club’s pregame afternoon hours were devoted to Fenway’s legacy and baseball history.
