You're right. I didn't listen when you told everyone the needs for baseball and I didn't listen when you warned about the practice facility. I take full responsibility for the mess we're in right now.

Wait . . . so you're telling me that UL is not delivering as promised? And there has been no communication about this? That's crazy talk. You must be talking about some other school.

I don't always agree with what you have to say, but I totally agree with you on this. Simply pathetic!! Of course the knights in shinning armor will now come to the defense of these contractors and explain that they've done absolutely nothing wrong. However.....................

I won't defend the contractors because they're working at a pathetic pace, but I will defend the University a little bit because we HAD to choose them according to state law. Since it's a state-funded project (because we don't have the resource set up in a central way, say, as an athletic foundation), we were required by law to accept the lowest bid, and unfortunately these guys were it. Save for fans going out there and finishing it themselves, there's nothing the school can do about it.

Amen. However, I must say it's still pathetic.

Thats BS!!! When the bid was won they had to agree on an finish date. If that date comes and goes and there was no act of GOD to extend the finish, the company would have to pay a fine for everyday late. And if that wasn't in the contract then some one in the state office of buildings and grounds should be held accountable.

    Ragin' Cajuns Re: in-door facility

Did I miss something in the paper, on the NEWS, on KPEL, or from someone in administration say that the Indoor Facility will not be ready prior to Football season?
