I think you throw out last year regarding framing. He didn't forget how to frame. He got thrown on a new team and had to start over.

I don't think framing matters from an umpire's perspective.

I didnt say irrelevant. I was unaware it was being tracked so thoroughly so there must be some value( although i am uninformed to know what that is). I just dont think it sways an ump into calling it a strike that much, maybe a few here and there

It's a very high priority in MLB catchers and tracked closely. We'll see how much it affects contracts next year when Luc signs his new deal.
