Man I'm getting crushed today..
Dear Lord, PLEASE not the Cubs.
Astros!!!!
I'm sure you were just trying to be funny, but you do realize the Braves have only had 3 losing seasons since 1989. 23 winning years out of the last 26 with 15 division champions, plus 2 wild card appearances. I doubt very seriously if there are more than 3 teams in all of the MLB that can make claim to that. So, if Lucroy was looking to play with a winner, it would be hard to find a better organization. And with the complete make over of the farm system, I would expect to see another streak of division champions, national league champions, and a little luck, maybe a world series or two over the next 10-15 years. The only thing that will hold them back will be Freddie Gonzales, the skipper. But I would imagine he will be gone after next year and the Braves will have another "Bobby Cox" to lead them.
GEAUX BRAVES!!!
UL — The last piece of Jonathan Lucroy's full-body armor was built, like the others before it, before dawn.
It's 6 a.m. Thursday, just days before Lucroy, the former Louisiana backstop, reports to Arizona for spring training with the ...
Jeff's interview with Jonathan.
