I emailed this article to a guy I know in Milwaukee who runs a camp called camp hometown heroes. It's a camp for kids that have lost parents while defending our nation overseas. He flies kids from all over the US to his week long camp for outdoor fun, but also for them to connect and talk about their lost. And all free to the campers. He said I was too late with the info that Lucroy has already spent a week at his camp helping these kids and has donated numerous signed baseballs, jerseys, bats, etc... for his silent auction. He said he has gotten to know Lucroy on a personal level and that he is a really great guy!!!

Watching MLBTV this weekend, they were ranking the Top 100 MLB players right now. Lucroy came in at #23, his first time on the list and ahead of some big name players. Can't wait for the season to start!!

    GEAUX CAJUNS!!

Default So, How Good is Lucroy Anyway?

Very, very good, indeed. According to MLB Network, Lucroy is the 23rd best player in baseball. ESPN ranked him the 21st best player last year.......Not bad.

Behind Yadi, best Catcher in the bigs

And I'd argue we're getting to a point where he may even surpass that. I've seen Yadi run the bases in person...cement shoes doesn't begin to describe how he moves.

^This. If we want to talk about a perfectly well-rounded catcher, Lucroy is the best. But Yadi gets the glam because he's an ace when it comes to gunning down stealers.

It stinks that he's in the NL with Posey and Yadi. Makes it hard to win Gold Gloves or Silver Sluggers

Won't be hard getting a FAT contract. The Brewers know what kind of talent they have.

Yadi gets the glam because he does everything, including handling a staff that consistently contends for World Series titles with different rosters. Yadi is still the standard. Luc hot on his heels though.
