We were OK. “For the most part, I kind of flew under the radar, I guess.” Lucroy put together three solid years for the Ragin’ Cajuns, earning first team all-Sun Belt honors as a junior in 2007 before deciding to turn pro. The Brewers ...

......"and led the major leagues with a scorching .531 average with runners in scoring position."

This is not at all surprising to anyone that watched him here.

Anytime I read an article about Lucroy, I'm reminded how the 2007 Cajun team should've been in a Super Regional against Rice. A Freshmen Aggie shut us down in the Regional Final.

    GEAUX UL!

It reminds me UL is just "1" good hard hitter away from bringing all those stranded runners home.

We were last in AB's, hits and runs in the league. We had 455 hits and the top 3 teams had 524-565 hits. We are basically 100 hits from being competitive. Our most prolific hitter had 64 hits, while the least skilled 3 regular batters had 30-35 hits. We need to find 80-100 hits and they will need to come from more than one new player, imo.

EDIT: We are probably "1" Lucroy away, but two or three normal all-conference candidate types away from being good. The good news is we know what we need.

How would you interpret 275 more "Plate Appearances" than "At Bats"

    Geaux Cajuns
