There was a real nice 1/4 page congratulatory section UL placed in today's Daily Advertiser. There were a couple of pics of Jonathan. One in his Cajun catching gear and the other in UL uniform batting. The message says:
There are certain things you will always remember...Your birthday, June 13, 1986...Your first day at college, August 23,2004 - and the day you were called up to the Big Leagues - May 21, 2010!
Congratulations Jonathan Lucroy!
The Ragin' Cajuns would like to wish you good luck in Milwaukee.
Then a big Ragin' Cajuns logo behind Jonathan's pics and a Milwaukee Brewers logo imposed in the front.
In Lucroy the Brewers are getting the second coming of Joe Mauer. Total package behind the plate. I just wish the Brewers would feel sorry for my Rangers and trade him there, they desperately need a backstop like Lucroy. Congrats to Lucroy here is to a long and succesful MLB career.
Classy move by UL.
Congrats Luc!

He got called up and he's not going anywhere the Beer Makers aren't going. The guy two spots in front of him, 62 year-old Greg Zaun came down with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. If I was George Kotarras, the guy in front of Jon, I'd buy some disability insurance.
