This has been totally unreal!

I flew to Minneapolis on Saturday. My seats were directly behind home plate, but I never made it to my seat. He was in the bullpen and I couldn't stop crying when I saw him there. I just couldn't believe it!! I stood beside the bullpen 13 innings and never sat down. It was very overwhelming.

If this is a dream, please don't wake me up!!

There was a real nice 1/4 page congratulatory section UL placed in today's Daily Advertiser. There were a couple of pics of Jonathan. One in his Cajun catching gear and the other in UL uniform batting. The message says:

There are certain things you will always remember...Your birthday, June 13, 1986...Your first day at college, August 23,2004 - and the day you were called up to the Big Leagues - May 21, 2010!

In Lucroy the Brewers are getting the second coming of Joe Mauer. Total package behind the plate. I just wish the Brewers would feel sorry for my Rangers and trade him there, they desperately need a backstop like Lucroy. Congrats to Lucroy here is to a long and succesful MLB career.

I'm not an MLB fan but hijacked the tv last night from the wife and kids to watch. Wish him the best of luck. I think he has what it takes to stick around for many years.

I saw that today. It was a real nice ad. I take it that was done by the university. If so, they are to be commended and hopefully will do more like that for our former players.
