Lucroy Quote, "You don't make any money if you don't play, so I've got to go out there and play every day. I feel that I can compete at the highest level every day I go out there, barring a broken bone or I'm bleeding somewhere. I feel like I should be in the lineup every day."

There is an old saying that goes something like this, you sign your first contract to take care of your family, on your second contract you can live comfortably and your third contract is what you retire on. Lucroy has the attitude that he has to play show what he is worth and that he deserves the next contract. Lucroy was never given anything and remembers where he came from.
