ECU, don't know why
I was not able to make the trip. But watched the Saturday game on the tube. When Luc hit a couple of those blast to deep center if all of the cajun fans wouldnt have gasped and sucked air in they might have left the park lol. I am sure it was a great time for all who went. And I agree with Jay his choice.
I don't fault the decision, (don't agree ... don't fault) that type thinking was a big factor in where Payton Manning played, Eli showed it was a non-factor.
While that may have been David's fear, I don't think it would have been born out much beyond his first season starting.
UL isn't a big hype school and he would have been embraced as "David" from day one. If he were a catcher I could see the worry.
ps I also think it will be a total non-factor for Austin Robichaux.

Got this little tid bit off of Rotoworld.com and thought I'd share.
Brewers manager have been impressed with what Jonathan Lucroy has done in his rookie season.
"For a guy straight out of Double-A," Macha said, "you have to be pleased with what you see." For the record, Lucroy actually played 21 games at Triple-A before being called up. Still, he has been decent with the bat, hitting .271 with three homers, 16 RBI and four stolen bases over 192 at-bats, and he has improved with his calling of a game. He could be a sleeper candidate for 2011.
I'll definitely have my eye on him next year.
A guy at a Brewer fan site broke down his first 50 games. He's done extremely well for a rookie. The analysis noted he is swinging at alot of balls off the plate, but will show more power and higher average as he gets pickier. Big upside at the plate.
