Is his past contract mitigated by the new one? IOW do the Angels get to reduce their liability to him based on the Cub contract?
The Cubs signed him to the league mininum and are responsible for that part of his contract. The Angels are responsible for the rest of his contract he signed with them minus what the Cubs pay him. He will not be double dipping.
any idea what his cubs jersey might be? looks like his prior jersey is taken....would you approve of 36?
rbi double!
Louisiana Ragin' Cajun great Jonathan Lucroy continues his hot start with his new Major League Baseball team
Veteran catcher Jonathan Lucroy is expected at Red Sox camp on Wednesday for a physical. If that goes well, he'd get a minor league contract and invite to camp.@ChrisCotillo was on it this a.m.

Lucroy, 33, played for Ron Roenicke in Milwaukee.
Gotta earn it now with a minor league deal. Going to be tough competition for the backup spot
