Turbine, please move to the other thread. Sorry, I didn't look there first.
Dirtiest play in years. Luc got trucked 3 feet inside the baseline. Speared in the head. I smell a suspension.
Marisnick made a left turn 15 feet from the plate. If Jon wasn't in the way he would missed home plate. Who slides inside home plate, into a tag? He deserves a suspension for sheer stupidity, if not malice. Sliding? He never even slid.
the runner cant even touch the plate from where he hits lucroy....

now an added bit of info, lucroy was planning on driving to louisiana after game to pay his condolescences..... now that might not happen?
Runner wasn’t even going for the plate. What a piece of ____.
Type of play that makes me embarrassed to be a fan of the Astros (and until Hinch sends low-life base runner down from MLB I will be pulling for them to lose every game).
Whatever MLB decides Hinch needs to send that scumbag down to minors to learn how to play the game the right way before he hurts other men playing major league ball.
Get well soon, Lucroy.
I would not want to be the next Astro’s batter to come to the plate against an Angels pitcher.
“High and tight” to say the least. Purpose of the next pitch should not just be to send a signal. It should be a 98 mph fastball that lands directly between the shoulder blades pf the batter. The batter can then thank that piece of ____ pinch runner for the blue and purple bruise on his back.
“After Sunday’s game in Houston, Lucroy will drive with his wife and kids to Lafayette to attend funeral services for Robichaux.“

If it wasn't Lucroy that was injured, nobody on here would be talking about the play. If you watch the other angles, right before the collision, Marisnick sees Luc going for the ball then plants to try and change directions. His head is actually what hits Lucroys head causing the injury. These plays happen at full speed with guys the same size as NFL players but without the pads. Could it have been avoided, probably, but unfortunately it wasn't. Nothing was intentional.
