8th?
20 shots out of 1st but only 10 shots out of 2nd. . . . or something like that
I can't say anything, I'm just plain horrible at golf. like playing it, but really really bad at it.
The Golf Team has not performed particularly well this year:
USM Tourney - 8 of 15
Golf Week Tourney - 11 of 15
LSU Tourney - 8 of 9
NC State Tourney - 9 of 12
UTSA Tourney - 12 of 14
USA Tourney - 11 of 16
UL Tourney - 10 of 14 (on our home course)
LA Tech Tourney - 9 of 11
Memphis Tourney - 2 of 16 (our only good showing)
Miss State Tourney - 9 of 14
Sun Belt Tourney - 8th place after 1st day
How is Georgia State in this event?
Did the Sun Belt let them in early so that they could have somewhere to compete? Just thought it was weird to see them so soon in golf and not the other sports...
On the Sun Belt board I saw a Georgia State poster say that once they accepted a SBC invite that they weren't allowed to participate in post season events with the CAA in sports that don't involve a set conference schedule. So that would explain why they are in every post season tournament minus M&W basketball, baseball, and softball.
