Who is this guy Nick Fontenot? Seems a Nick Fontenot played at Barbe, but LoHud is out of NY. Is he a visiting reporter for Gannett? It is not listed as an Advertiser article, but is a special to the Advertiser. Just curious.

Nick Fontenot was the editor at the Verm a year or so ago. He interned at the Daily Advertiser, but I think he works at one of the smaller Gannett newspapers in Acadiana now.

No. I just choose not to hold grudges against someone who wishes to root for both UL and LSU. I don't agree with him doing that but it won't stop me from reading his articles
