Thread: New defense's first big test today

  1. Default New defense's first big test today

    It hasn't happened overnight.

UL head coach Mark Hudspeth never expected it would.

But over the last month and change, a period of practices and scrimmages that concludes with this afternoon's spring game at Cajun Field.

I'm really excited to see what Willis can do this year. I'm staying cautious though until we see it on the field.

Well when the kids voice somewhat negative comments on the previous defensive system you can tell that there was a problem ---- Also with the positive comments of the newly enacted one you tend to think that it is better!!!! Factor in the learning curve time and I think this is gonna be good as it progresses!!!

Our secondary is a tremendous concern

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Our secondary cant do a whole lot worse than last year. I'm excited to see what the new guys can do. Keep in mind some of the true freshman we hve coming in that will probably be physically better than many of the upper class man.
