COLLEGE STATION, Texas - You knew it was coming down to this . one game to survive, one game to advance.

You knew no one was going to back down, and no one was going to run away. Both Texas A&M and UL have been through too much, had too much success, had too many things go their way, not to know that the if-necessary game in the NCAA Baseball Tournament's College Station Regional would be necessary.

"We expected these guys to be back," said UL baseball coach Tony Robichaux. "They're a proud organization, too."
