Thread: Coming Home

  1. Default Coming Home

A month or so ago, Yvette Girouard had no idea that it was going to happen so soon.

For 13 years, the woman who started the UL softball program was an enemy of her creation.

This is so COOL Re: Coming Home

We all know that she had many comments and actions while in BR that she would like to have back. Kudos to all involved who realized that it can only HELP the softball program to have Yvette back in the UL "family."
    WELCOME HOME, Yvette!!

This was a good moment for UL ... I am sorry I was unable to witness it.

    This is what grownups do.

I was as mad as anybody at times over the last 13 or so years...but I am extremely happy that last night happened and also that I was able to be there to witness it. Gave me a real good feeling.

I was mad like you; I am so glad there are people running the show with better heads on their shoulders than me; we are better because of this!

This is good stuff. Everyone's human, this is some of what makes sports so special. I'm glad this happened.

OK, I will admit it; I almost teared up a little reading that article.

    Welcome back Yvette.

I'd like to see her in some type for fundraising/volunteer capacity with the program. Lord we know she has had plenty of practice there.

I guess we need to look around and see what other wrongs we can right. Stokley?

I would love to see us right the Stokley wrong. Sadly, Nelson is no longer with us to enjoy it; but we owe much amends to the Stokley family.
