Because of the the way 4 seeds beat 1 seeds . . . the diamond sports get my votes.

Everybody at this time of year has a good #1 pitcher. That's why day 1 always makes me nervous, no matter who we're playing against (although this year we didn't see the Ohio St University's #1)

I love baseball but it is march madness.
Everbody but the Cajuns... we have several good #1 pitchers.Originally Posted by jllanclos

The fact that you can lose a game early and come back through the losers bracket lends to a ton of potential drama.
Specifically related to UL this year, I vote for Baseball, because it seems to be the only thing this season we had any real hope of making noise with.
Year in and year out, specifically related to UL, I'd vote for baseball and softball.
In general, related to the whole of the NCAA Div. I tier, I'd have to go with baseball, because there seems to be more parity, and to copy Turbine's answer which sums it up quite well, a 4 seed could very easily beat a 1 seed. Also, non number one seeds, because of parity, have a very good chance at winning the regional and even super regional rounds.
God Bless

Softball and Baseball have to tie, right?
