They received 4 votes in the final ESPN/USA Softball poll last year, good enough for a 3-way tie for 37th. No votes in the USA Today/NFCA final poll.

FIU has been ranked before while in the SBC but it has been many years ago.

FIU was ranked in 2002 the 2nd week of the season in the NFCA poll. The Cajuns were receiving votes. There was no USA Softball poll at that time. They were not ranked at the same time.

FAU was ranked before they joined SBC in 2007 and they were ranked with the Cajuns in the first few years of the Belt.
