UL and Tulane intended to play here last season, but fear of inclement weather prompted the Green Wave baseball team to opt against making the trip from New Orleans to Lafayette.

It never did rain that night; the game could have been played.

Rick Jones will probably feel some water from a sprinkler head at the Tulane athletic complex and say it's rain, cancelling the game....because we all know that the Tulane players will arrive in New Orleans too late following the game.
