Thread: Poo-Poo Broussard

  1. Default Re: James The Jeweler

All this talk about Mamou and guess what I'm from Mamou, born and raised. I learned French from my grandparents and "Les nouvelles en francais" on KVPI. I've studied Louisiana folklore at UL. Part of Cajun humor has been to tell larger than life tales as well as to poke fun at ourselves.

If you find the video offensive. You do not have to continue to post in this thread.

I dedicated five years (Yes I passed a good time) of my life and about $60,000 to the university. I even went to graduate school at UL turning down USM and Tech. Most McNeese fans are okay and I like them. Tailgateguy which usually the most anti - Cajun person you want to meet is actually a very good guy. I don't have to talk bad about UL fans on any message board, they have destroyed themselves with their behavior on Delphi. I will ask you this again. If an LSU fan posted this crap link how would you feel?
His videos aren't about college loyalties. And if you weren't blind, you would have noticed that Turbine has pointed out that only members can see this thread.

For the record, I graduated from UL in December 2006 and was just recently accepted into UL's MBA program. I may be young, but I love this university just as much as you do (see 6 time defending Paint the Town Red exterior award winners). From my first breath, I was a Ragin Cajun. I may not have given 60k to this university (yet), but I am well on my way. I have baseball season tickets and bought a special jersey at each baseball game this year. I'm thinking about getting football season tickets, but since I will be a student again this fall, I will get in "free." Still debating on that issue.

And by you continuously posting on this thread, you keep the thread going. And for that I thank you because now everyone can see how funny james is!

You have real problem. I attended a few McNeese games because one of my best friends was the O-line coach. It was playoff games if I remember correctly, the year McNeese made it to the NC game....02? We were wearing McNeese hats that my friend gave to us....so what?

Stopped attending USL in 82-83, when my brother and I opened a business. Business got busy, real quick. Had intentions of going back. Wife, kids, work got in the way. Been attending UL games since they were at McNaspy, parents both gradutes, father with a Masters in Education. Father is employed in the Education dept. Was on the original work crew that started the workdays at UL in Coach Bustles first year. Other workdays I have attended. Washing and painting of the track stadium. Pressure washing the building that houses the Coaches offices. Was there when we removed the old bleachers at the Tigue. Have given donations on numerous occassions when approached by Mr Hebert. The K-sippers have made donations to Coach Bustle to aid in the recruiting budget. The last donation I sent was to aid in the Summer School Scholarship fund, spearheaded I might add by my good friends Hammer, and CajunsMike.

I have more ties to UL than you have meds in your bathroom cabinet.

    Z,

You were the first person I met from the Delphi board back at a UL footbll practice. I know your dedication to Ragin Cajun athletics.

    RCAJUN90,

I suggest you end the flaming of members of this board. You've taken something as trivial asa comedy video and made it personal with members of this board. Hasn't this gone too far?
