Correct should have been a hit and error and only the H flashed!!!!
just a note on Dylan Butler---he destroyed the ball to day---2 on the warning path against a pretty good wind and one off the right field fence---3 starters didn't play today ----G-Rod, Compton, and Conrad---but I say that in a rather positive tone as we show pretty good depth as a club -----Even with the Great # of hits by both teams there were some others shots drilled right at both teams in the field!!!
Glad Dylan was making good contact. In todat's wind, though, they ended up being loooong outs. Would have done better swinging more level and getting on base.
Was boutte's pitch count high when he got pulled? Don't understand why robe went to hicks so early. Other than that bad ugly first inning, I thought he did a pretty average job rest of the way
man everybody was pumped that We hadn't used Hicks and that he was ready for this perfect timing----This was the plan but Hick's game just wasn't there today--control for one!!!!
Boutte had that one bad inning, but then stopped the bleeding. I don't recall what he did in his final inning. Hicks has been lights out, so I suspect Robe called on him to come in and finish it off. Unfortunately, Hicks had an inning like Boutte's 1st.
