Good, now nobody will ever know our disgrace.
Y'all need to settle down with this Laffy thing. People have been using that for years and while I don't use it I don't really care. It's no different than calling someone Johnny instead of Johnathan or calling your Grandmother Granny. It's just a shortened version, come on. Just because y'all first hear it from a LaTech fan doesn't mean it's disrespectful. Even if Tech does suck

That's what popped up searching for laffy on UD. Laffy taffy is used frequently as a derogatory term. Not laffy
Lighten up and put on your Laffy Pants

The thing is, you DON'T get it. It's a nickname for the city that's been used for the better part of a decade. Most people who use it use it with a sense of excitement or endearment, and to say otherwise is naive. Don't mistake my age for being less intelligent or less clued in to the happenings in the city of Lafayette. That being said...Geaux Cajuns!
Shake that Laffy Taffy by D4L. (Probably NSFW)
But anyway, relax guys. People use "Laffy" in the same way people use NOLA, Beantown, Tinseltown, Sin City, etc. There's nothing negative behind it's use.
