In Mississippi there is a Lafayette County. They pronounce it LA Fae It! I just got an idea. Why doesn't Lafayette change the parish name to Louisiana? Then we could use the University of Louisiana name claiming it refers to the parish? That would throw a curve ball to the folks in Red Stick.
