You are missing the point. Laffy is not just a word....it's the abbreviation of Lafayette and its has a rather not so pleasant meaning in the same circles that use it. So in essence the "hip new thing" the the younger people are calling Lafayette is out of a rap video.

It's not a term of endearment....it's a term of disrespect. The old turds on the board get it. It's sad to see that young people just don't get it....they don't get many many things these days...they just want to do what's easiest. Its's Sad really.....
