Thread: UL's two-headed tight end

  1. Default UL's two-headed tight end

When now-San Diego Charger Ladarius Green left UL after the 2011 season, the Ragin' Cajuns dialed down their usage of tight ends in the pass game.

Ian Thompson and Jacob Maxwell were still integral to the Cajun offense in 2012, but much more so for blocking purposes than anything else.

How many 3rd and short have these guys converted through the last number of years??? Like Quick outs and then they turn it upfield and really get some tough yards on the leverage guy coming up!!! 2 quality guys and Pettis has also done well!!!

We got two freshman who both are strong candidates to play this season, one will probably sit and red shirt.

Hello Boomer. Larry had zero, none , nada touchdown catches in 2012. He had only 1 catch for the year. And that was for only 4 yards. He had a better freshman season.

Well obviously as a better blocker than the other 2, he was used in that capacity --but per his TD catch as a freshman he can catch the baLL!!!!! DON'T RECALL ANY DROPS!!!

The td was vs troy in 2011. I was there and it was a good one.
