MOBILE, Ala. - Five different college baseball outlets are predicting a No. 1 seed for the Ragin' Cajuns and an NCAA Regional site at UL's Moore Field.

Bracket projections, in advance of Monday's announcement of the 64-team field, by Baseball America, SE Baseball, Rivals, Boyd's World and Southern College Sports have Lafayette as one of the 16 regional sites. Those 16 will be announced Sunday afternoon, one day in advance of the field and bracket.

Baseball America listed UL as a host for the first time in its weekly projections, hosting a regional that includes Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Lamar. The magazine tabs Lamar to win this week's Southland Conference tournament in Natchitoches.
