In my hours of research (microfiche) I could never find where UL was kicked out of the Big West but that is the rumor I have heard over and over for years.

Is it possible that was UL spin at the time to save travel money?

As I recall Turb the BW decided not to renew the football only agreements with UL and Tech (was ASU involved also?). So I don't think it was our decision.

Am I correct in my memory that the BW agreement needed renewal and the members decided not to renew the agreement due to travel concerns of the West Coast members?
