Let's not go overboard here. The most accurate description of Bustle is he was the guy who led UL football from rotten and totally forgettable, to the verge of mediocrity and a little less forgettable. And he accomplished it all in only NINE freaking years?! Sure he was nice, but that did NOT make him a great coach. I thought he underachieved as a coach several seasons and definitely provided UL with some of it's most embarrasing moments in sports history. Getting skull drug by WKU for their first 1-A win in history and getting butt kicked by McNeese in the swamp were both unforgivable coaching blunders that should eternally wipe his name from the pages of the good coaching fraternity history book.
EDIT: Make no mistake about it UL fan. Those two losses did as much to hurt the reputation of the university for years to come as anything in the school's history despite hiring the HUD. Anyone who doesn't recognize this is being willfully & foolishly blind.
