    I can show you a season in the last 10 where UL's RPI rose over 100 notches in the last half of the season to finish around 50.

    It will only drop if we keep losing.

    No...actually an RPI can drop even after a win...if the opponent is a weak one.

    It can but it won't. Cajuns will be picking up high OWP points with games next week against Oklahoma (2) and Tulsa, and a few weeks later against Houston (2). The conference schedule is not going to hurt all that much since Troy, Monroe & Middle are the only ones with losing records. Losing is really the only thing that will hurt.

    South Alabama just gave themselves and the rest of the Sun Belt a big boost by crushing LSU, 12-5 today. USA has one non-conference game left, a home game against Florida State, another RPI booster. They have a very real chance of winning out, and if they do, they are highly likely to be hosting a regional.
