Sausage Smith, Biscuit Benoit, Eggs Elway, Syrup Sonnier and Ham Hanson didn't want to come here either. Breakfast is behind us... on to lunch.

I stand corrected. I could've sworn he was a end of the bench player over there

Nope. He definitely came here with everyone knowing he could play, and play well.

I may be in the minority, but I won't blame the kid for decommitting when the situation he committed to changed.
It is my understanding he asked for his release long before JJ was kicked off the team.

Ok, can we just let the kid go already? Why are we even discussing this, he chose to go elsewhere and JJ sabotaged what would have been a very solid team had him, Colbey and Smith remained Cajuns.

All of those events are said and done, now we just need to move forward.

Well c4Life it all started with someone who was cow eyed, and love sick for Pancake. Then the how good is he questions started. I agree he was never a Cajun, did not want to be a Cajun, and I could care less how good, bad, or where he is playing.

So, it appears that FGC has proven basketball in the hands of a great recruiter and coach can work wonders in just a couple of seasons. We are like the USSR starting on our third five year plan, only no heads rolled when moving from the second to third plan.

Marlin will have an opportunity to close some deals with kids who are considering us and others who advanced to the field of 32. We shall see if he can close the deal.

If he can't, Express, then he needs to be held accountable. Only HE has put us in a spot where we aren't winning quite enough games because we can't get the talent we need...while at the same time until we get the talent we need we won't win enough games.

Nice catch 22 he's put himself in.

Who was the basketball player in town this weekend w/ the coaching staff and family? A buddy of mine saw him at Another Broken Egg....said he was a big guy, reminded him of the 7 footer from Kentucky. Anybody got a clue?
