The Lady Cajuns have been the class of the conference for a long time. The Sunbelt has been getting stronger in softball year by year. Stephanie Lotief was the head coach and pitching coach for many years. You can't just replace her and expect to not miss a beat in the circle and in the dugout. Mike will figue it out and get the right assistants in place. Keep your head up girls, we're still behind you.

We must also remember that Joy Weber Leblanc called the pitches and worked with the pitchers the last 2 years. She unfortunately decided to leave mid year. It is hard to find someone to replace Joy at mid-year. The better coaches already have jobs. Josh Johnson was brought in to help with pitching also, unfortunately, he has been out for a while, pitching for the US Men's National Softball Team. So guys, Mike has alot on his plate. He is basically having to coach every facet of the game. That is a huge task. In the end, I think they will prevail, although I do think they will have more bumps in the road.
