Soooo, another lost series, and the way this is rolling, might be the first sun belt team to sweep us in God knows how long... What now?

Don't have the talent...at least not right now...that we've had in most past years. Particularly true in pitching. Plus...three errors in game 2 didn't help.

Definetly a down year.

5-4 south. Either Stevie p underestimated their offense or our pitching is just not on par as what we are usually acoustom too.

You hit the nail on the head. For years we dominated teams with our hitting and pitching. No more. Lotief goes out and recruit girls that might not be looked at by elite softball teams and teaches them softball. Maybe we better start looking for recruits that might not need so much teaching. Next year will be the rebuilding year. Not giving up on this team yet, but we better start winning conference games.

Feb 23-24, 2011. FAU swept us by the score of 1-0, 4-2 and 6-2.......last sweep until maybe tommorow.

It's just so weird seeing the girls struggle like this. When's the last time there was a thread about our concern for softball before this year. Either way, lets just blame Farmer for our poor play.

It never fails---the peripheral crap kills you---the Haack girl wondering about the rings not to even be on the charts as compared to who the coach was/is---Anyway it is a phenomenon in sports--Gotta keep your mind on the game !!!!

I assume you are just talking about someone just give a good outing and not any particular pitcher. I don't have the damnest clue which one of our pitchers will do the job. Just flip a coin.
