Each is impressive in her own way. Together the six UL softball signees that played at the LHSCA All-Star Softball Doubleheader stole the show. Athletically, there was no arguing with Ashley Brignac of John Curtis or Mount Carmel’s Christine Orgeron. Without ever seeing them hurl a pitch or swing a bat, it would be hard not to be impressed with these two. Brignac looks like a thoroughbred and Orgeron a greyhound.
